"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello Madras House!

My dear Madras House,

As it may interest you to know, I got your impressive information through your country business directory here in Lome-Togo Rep, where I was searching for a good reliable contact to entrust my money to his care. I was elated when I saw your address, and I picked a keen interest with confidence to solicit for your help in executing this transaction.

I am Emmnuel Chisale, the son of Chisale Abraham from Sao tome Principe. who died last year ago after a brief illness. The source of the money, as I told you, my father was very rich man in my country, Sao Tome. And he has two wives and my mother is the last wife, his first wife has five children, four boys and one girl, and my mother have only me as her child, and I am 27 years old.

Some months after the death of my father, we now decided to share his wealth, our senior brother who is the first son of my father's first wife said, they are going to take 80% of my fathers wealth while I, and my mother will have only 20% of the wealth then I refused and decided to contact my father's lawyer. I thank God, my father wrote a solid will on how his wealth will be shared if he died, the family lawyer went to the Court and brought the will.

What my father wrote in the will is, his wealth will be shared equal among his two wives, 50% is for the first wife and her children, while the other 50% is for me and my mum. After sharing my father's legacy, my senior brother is no more happy with me, rather looking for a way to terminate my life, for that I and my mother decided to leave our country, Sao Tome for exile in Togo Rep, so that our lives will be safe.

We have our own share of US$4.25 million (Four Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars), I tried, and with the help of our family lawyer to transferred our own share down to Lome-Togo. He registered it as a family treasure with the Security finance firm.

The Box is in the Security Finance Firm, here in LomeTogo Rep. We now decided to send it abroad, where I can invest it on a lucrative business . We have finalised all the necessary arrangement on how to send the consignment (money) from security company to your country.

So as soon as you indicate your interest, confirming your willingness to assist my family, I will need your full name and address where the Box will be delivered, because the security company does not know the content in the box, except you the receiver. Then when we come over there you will assist us to invest our share wisely.

Note: My mum and I had suggested to invest part of the money on landed properties in abroad, with a honest person, preferably my mum said must be married person who has the fear of God in her.

On percentage ratio, we agreed to offer you 20% of the total sum for your assistance, please I hope you will not betray me after all the money is been delivered to your care/destination. Your co-operation/assistance is highly needed, I awaiting your response, for more clearifications.

Thanks and God bless.
Your's Faithfully,
Emmnuel Chisale.
