"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

will like to come over to your country where I will like to stay to continue my studies where I stopped due to my father's sudden death, while in school, I will like you to go on to help me invest my money in a very good business until I will be through with my school.

In my next mail to you, I will give you my photo, Please understand that i am putting my trust on you, I want you yo promise that you will not bertay me, if you asure me this, in your next mail to me, I will like you to give me your telephone number and your photo, as soon as get this; all that
you requested will be given to you together with contact of the bank here so that you will see things by yourself.
