"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello my dear

Compliments My dear, I am miss victoria spencer from Ethiopia, i am single and 25 years old girl. Immediately after going through your profile i made up my mind to contact you for marriage or long term relationship. Considering my situation and problem presently there is nothing i can do than to trust somebody, and to trust somebody is by choice, and you are my choice of trust.
I must reveal to you that my daddy was the Financial controler to the Common Wealth North African Region, who was killed in a car with my mother by un-identified family enemies on the 10 of February along Addis Ababa international Airport road in Ethiopia and i and my junior brother ( Hopkin-23 years old ) are the only one left in the family. Before my daddy died he left with me the deposition document where he made me his Next of Kin to the 25 Million USD$ which he secretely deposited with FINANCIAL SECURITY SERVICES SECTION of CITI BANK in Dakar, Senegal. At the hospital he INSTRUCTED me to leave Ethiopia for Dakar to claim our wealth from city bank AND to first of all seek a foreign friend who will help us in transfering the money out of senegal for our education and investment. Now my dear, this information i revealed to you is my life, and i beleive you will help me. So 1 need your assistance to help us accommodate this money into your company or private
bank account. And after the transfer, myself, hopkin and you will travel back to your region together.

I have decided to give you 25% of the 25 Million USD$ for all your assistance and any expenses that you may incure, eg, your flight ticket, hotel accommodation etc after the transfer. If you are interested to help us do give me (1) your full names (2) your house address (3) your personal (mobile) telephone number. And Reply us through this email address: Victoria_hopkin2004@yahoo.com and when your reply i will give you our telephone number to call us because we have no petty cash at hand. We applied, and we are presently accommodated in catholic mission here in senegal. Hopkin is in men's hostel and i am in female hostel. i will be back to receive your reply. Take good care of yourself.
I remain Yours ever,
Miss Victoria Spencer & Brother Hopkin Spencer.
