Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Since then I as the Personal Attorney of the deceased had made several inquiries to your embassy to locate any of my clients extended relative,but this has proved unsuccessful. After several unsuccessful attempts,I decided to trace his relatives through the Internet to locate any member of his family but to no avail, hence I contact you.

I have decided to contact you to assist in repatriating the money and property left behind by my client before they get confiscated or declared unserviceable by the Bank where this huge Deposits were lodged Particularly the Bank where the Deceased had an Account valued at about $5.5M {Five Million, five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars}as at last two months assessment.

The Bank has issued me a notice as the Attorney to the Deceased to provide the Next of Kin or have the Account confiscated within the Next 21 official working days since i have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over the years that i have been searching. On this order,I seek your consent to present you as the Next of Kin to the Deceased since you bear the same surname, as the bank is ready to listen to you provided you have the correct Information of the Account, which i will give to you immediately you agreed to assist me, so that the proceeds of this Bank Account valued at $5.5Million Dollars can be paid out in your favor.

As a Barrister, I have all the necessary Legal Documents that will be used to back up the claim. I guarantee that this transaction will be executed under a legitimate banking arrangement that will protect you from any breach of law. I have agreed to give you 40% for your assistance,while 60% will be for me.
