"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

London United Kingdom.l am the personal attorney to Late Ross McEachern aged 70.
A Rtd staff with Minning Development Company United Kingdom. Who died
after a brief illness in London on the 21st of April 2000. Before his
death, He deposited the sum of Ten Million Six Hundred Thousand United
State Dollars In a SECURITY cONPANY in Toronto Canada.

All efforts to reach his relatives have proved abortive. Following the
notification from his Bank to present his next of kin as beneficiary.
This mandate compels me to present any of the relative or friend of my
late client to his bank. Since the deceased is from your country and
also bears same surname with you, l have contacted you to assist in the
claim/transfer of this fund to your account.

I will prepare every necessary documentation as proof and also Furnish you
with adequate information about my late client that will back you up in
this claim. l am highly delighted and willing to work with you on this
matter and will appreciate if you will acknowledge your interest by
forwarding your telephone and fax numbers to enable me contact you for
more detailed explanations. You shall be entitled to 50% of the total amount
while 5% will be used for any expences incurred in this process without any cost to you.
