"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Please can i have your attention for a moment? I hope this mail doesn't
come to you as an embarrassment as i receive unsolicited mails sometimes.
The truth about it is that many individuals have failed to understand the
use for which the Internet is set for us to benefit, and therefore some
abuse the privilege.


This mail is strictly personal, intimate and confidential.There is no way for me
to know whether I will be properly understood,but it is my duty to write and
reach out to you. For I know that you can be trusted to handle this project
effectively without making me regret.


I am Mr Desmond Pedro a bank manager bank,and an account Officer to Late Engr.George Anslinger from your country,who used to work with Shell Oil and Gas Development Plc.On the 27th of February 2003 my client and his wife and two children were involved in the Lagos Ikeja military cantonment Bomb Blast which Engr.George Anslinger was killed along with his family and his friend Colonel Buba Maruwa, the then Governor of Lagos State. they both lost their lives.

these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to track his desendant
on the internet to locate any member of his family hence I contacted you.

get confiscated or decleared as unserviceable by my Bank where i am the
Manager/of his account .Because of his huge deposit as i need you first
to agree in assisting me transfer it into your account before i can now
give you a comprehensive details of his account.


Particularly where the deceased had an account valued at about US$10.5
Million United State Dollars.My Bank has issued me a notice to provide
the next of kin or have the account confiscated within the 6 weeks.
Since I have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over 4
