Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

I am Mr. Murphy Richard, staff of Ecowas Bank Ltd. I am contacting you concerning a deceased customer and an investment he placed under our banks management three years ago. I would respectfully request that you keep the contents of this mail confidential.


My proposal: I now seek your permission to present you as a next of kin to the deceased, as all documentations will be carefully worked to make you the beneficiary to the funds (25 Million United States Dollars); I am prepared to place you in a position to instruct the security Firm to release the deposit to you as the closest surviving relation.


Since his death, none of his next-of-kin is alive to make claims for this money as his heir, because they all died in the same accident himself and his wife (May their soul rest in peace). We cannot release the fund from his account unless someone applies for claim as the next-of-kin, If you are interested please response, do not be, destructive.
