"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank for taking out time in reading my proposal., as I would like to go
straight to what I have to say about this transaction that I want to
discuss. The main reason why you were contacted on this issue was that it is
urgent and it needs to be done on time, and would be finished before the

all of any kind and no risk involved in this fruitfull transaction, all we
want is that this is executed smoothly.

My Proposal to you involves the total sum of 26.5 million United States
Dollars, the funds were receovered from an over invoice account of the
company(Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation) for the ending of the
year’s book account in 2006, I and my Executive board of Directors came to a
conclusion that the funds be used as this year’s investments in your
country, so that is the main reason why we contacted you on this matter.

Well, before you look into this transaction, you must note that this is a
lot of money we are talking about and we both would have to put in effort
just to make sure that the funds leave the paying bank here to you over
there in your country, we also concluded that you would have 20% of the
total funds, just for you to make sure that the funds are safe over there,
10% would go into accidentail cost of pruchasing your legal documentations
for receiving the funds and the remaning 70% would be used for the
investments, this is something I hope that you undertsand.

So, we are seeking that you look into this proposal and let us know if you
can handle it for the company. As everything over here would be handled
legally to ensure the security and entity even also the prioritry of both of
us as we assure you risk free in this transaction and that is the truth. You
are just to receive the funds over there, and some of the companies offcial
would come over to discuss on what to do with the remaining funds after
yours has been deducted. Send your email Directly to the company’s official
email (nnpc_officeofgmd_4@myway.com) as we await your reply on this
transaction.

INFORMATIONS REQUIRED.
