"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Establish contact with the attorney immediately

Dear Singh,

I really appreciate your kindness towards my request for your noble assistance. Before we proceed with this, I will like you to assure me that you will not involve/inform anyother person about this transfer. I am saying this for security reasons and also do to the nature of my father's death. I hope you can understand me.

Also, I wish to inform you that I have discussed with the banker where this money is deposited and he informed me that before the money can be transferred to your account, that their bank has to change the beneficiary of the money to your name.In view of this, I have contacted an attorney who will handle this on our behalf. Below is his information;

Attorney Solange Kone
Solange and Associates Chambers Abidjan
Telephone: +225 04 129 976
Email: solange@lawyer.com

Please do go ahead and contact the attorney and also follow his instructions to make sure that everything goes fine with the transfer as he is in the position to assist us to see that this money is transferred to your account.

Please provide me with a telephone number where I can call you or you can call me on this telephone + 225 07 772 372.
On hearing from you, I will send you the document issued to my late father when he deposited this money with the bank.
I will be waiting to hear from you urgently.
Sincerely,
Harrison.
