"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello,I am Aisha Maccido, a younger Daughter of His Royal Majesty, Alhaj' Maccido, The Sultan of Sokoto Caliphate. My father H.R.M, Maccido died in a ghastly plane crash of the ill-fated ADC airlines on the 29th october 2006 near Abuja, the federal Capital territory, on his way home to Sokoto from a national forum on educational reforms. My father died in the crash along with his elder son who is also a sanator in the national assembly and also a grand son along with him died.I and my Mother, the last and the 4th wife of my father, HRM,Maccido. are living in Eastern Nigeria. The problem now is that the elder Sons of my late father HRM Maccido and his senior wives have conspired and seized all the properties and assets belonging to my late father claiming that my mother was not a legitmate wife of the late Maccido, for that reason they have refused to alot any property to me or my mother. But luckily for me and my mother, there is an account which my late father has been
operating in my mother's name and non of the elder sons or wives knew anything about this account, only me and my mother now. So, I and my mother want to withdraw the whole money amounting to 10.5 million U.S Dollars, kept in an international bank in the Republic of Togo, a French speaking country in the coast of West Africa.Hence, I am contacting you for assitance to help me to move this fund to your country for safe keeping. untill I and my mother arrives to meet you. We have planed to come and settle down permanently in oversea and invest the fund in any profitable business there.Since we are not Citizen in your country, if you can help us to recieve this fund into your account or any account of your choice in your country or elsewhere, then reply to me immediately and forward to me your personal details so that I can instruct the international bank to transfer the fund into your account with your names as the beneficiary, while we can board the next available flight to
meet you in your country. I have also agreed with my mother to give you 15% of the total amount for your assistance. hoping for your faithful coporation and promising that this transaction is free of any trouble or risk. I assure you a successful and hitch free transfer. Please, try to keep every matter private and confidential, do not discuss this with other people to avoid unnecessary interferance, as you know privacy and confidentiality is the success of every business. Please get back to me so that I can furnish you with the modalities for the immediate transfer.Waiting for your reply,Thanks,Yours Faithfully,Aisha.
