"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

OPTION 2:
BANK WIRE TRANSFER
Cost of COT (commission of transfer) being charged by our transferring bank, which is £1500 GBP. And this charges are to be paid by you winner before transfer can commence. You would be required to provide the following information to effect this transfer:
* Account Name/Beneficiary.
* Account No.
* Bank Name/Location.
* Account Type.
* Swift Code.

Note that your prize is protected by a hardcover insurance policy by NET INSURANCE COMPANY, which makes it impossible for us to deduct any amount from your winnings before it is Remitted to you.
This means that the above charges cannot be deducted from the prize and hence must be provided by you before your prize is transferred to you.
Please respond to this email by making a selection from the options above.

Also attach a scanned copy of either your driver's license, international passport (photo page) or any other legally identifying document(Optional) while sending your option to us.Also be reminded that the deadline for the claiming of your winnings is exactly two weeks after the receipt of this email.
