"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend,

Before I proceed, may I apologize for this unsolicited mail to you.
I am aware that this is certainly an unconventional
approach to establish a relationship, but I urge you to realize
the need for my action. I got your email contact during my search
for a reliable person to confide in this proposal.

I am Mrs Habibah mohammed from Kuwait but lives in
London U.K. I was married to Late Akber mohammed who
worked with Kuwait Embassy in Sudan and Benin Republic
for Twelve years before he died in the year 2000.
We were married for eighteen years without a child. He
died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days.
After his death I decided not to re-marry or get a child outside
my matrimonial home.

However, four years after my husband's death, I was diagnose
of suffering from cancer of the breast. All efforts to cure
this malady proved abortive and as a result of this one of my
breast was cut off. I am currently in an agonizing pains.
Moreover, when my late husband was alive, he deposited the
sum of $750,000.00( seven hundred and fifty thousand U.S.
Dollars) with ABBEY NATIONAL BANK bank in United Kingdom and till date this
money is still with the bank as fixed deposit.

Presently, sequel to my Doctor's diagnosis,I have less than
six months to live due to this cancer problem.
Having known my faith on planet earth I decided to donate
this fund to either an organisation or a reliable
individual in your person who shall utilize this money
to better the lives of the less privileged our society.

I would want you to use this money in all sincerity to fund
orphanages, charity homes and the destitutes homes.
God's benevolence has encouraged me to take this bold step.
Besides, I dont have any child to inherit this money and
my husband's relatives have been very hostile and unkind to
me since after my husband's death.

Hence the reason for taking this solemn decision.
Please note, once I receive your reply I shall forward to you
the contact of the bank where this money is deposited.
Any delay in your reply will give me room for sourcing
for another organisation or individual for this same purpose.
May the Almighty Allah continue to guide and protect you.

Regards,

MRS. HABIBAH MOHAMMED.
