"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Piet,
I know this email will come as a surprise to you,but what I have to inform you are real and a one in a lifetime opportunity to make a fortune,if you are willing and ready to be the beneficiary.

I am Mr.Johhann Wilkins and a former Lawyer to Late Mr.John Piet and I have vital information concerning your late relative a miner in South Africa, who died in the mine explosion in 23 January 2006 in South Africa. and left a deposit of R17,350,000.00 (US$2.4 Million) in one of the Banks in South Africa.
please refer to this website for more details concerning the explosion: http://ns20275.ovh.net/en/103-AngloGold/1629-Earth-Tremor-Kills-Three-at-AngloGold-South-African-Mine
If you are willing to stand as the next of kin, since he did not name any next of kin or beneficiary and there was no will at the time of his sudden death, the only known relative of his,his late wife died some month before the incident after a protracted battle with cancer and they have no children of theirs,so this funds is lieing unclaimed in the Bank without any beneficiary, and since it has been sometime now and it remained unclaimed, the Bank has mandated me to look for any relative of his to claim the estate, before they will declare the funds unserviceable, and confiscate it return it to the State.

It is in this vain that I have searched the internet to look for any possible relative with the same surname as the deceased, that can act as the next of kin and beneficiary so that the funds can be transferred into your acccount overseas and we can share the funds together.
All documentations for the the claim will be taking care by me,it will be done legally to avoid any breach of law in your country aswell as in South Africa,so therefore there is no risk involved in the claim, and you will know that your only obligation here is to act as the next of kin to the deceased.

All proceeds from the claim will be shared equally by both of us,and once you reply to indicate your readiness to stand as the next of kin, then I shall furnish you with the necessary details,so that we can proceed with the claim immediately.
Anitcipating your response to my mail.

Mr.Johhann Wilkins.
