"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dearest one,

I know that you will be very suprise to receive this letter, it is true that we have not meet each other face to face before, but it was due to my situation that made me to contact you for help. I am Mr Santos Juba from Ivory coast the only son of ( Late Mr and Mrs Paul Juba) My Father was a highly international reputable business magnet-(a cocoa merchant) who operated in the capital of Ivory coast,Abidjan during his days.

It is sad to say that my father and mother passed away mysteriously in Europe during one of thier business trips abroad this year. My late father ,willed in cash, the sum of ($2.8 Million US Dollars) which he deposited in a Fixed/Suspence account here in Abidjan Ivory coast,But before the sudden death of my late father and mother ,he made it known to me been the only son, that he deposited the sum of ($2.8 million US Dollars) in one of the Bank in Abidjan Ivory coast.

I am contacting you so that you can help me to see that this money will be transfer to your account in your country and you help me look for an investment, where we can use the money to invest in your country, after the bank might have transfer the fund to your account, and you will help me to come over to your country to stay with you for the rest of my lives.and you will be incharge of the investment while while i will continue with my education.

l am Hoping to read from you soonest.

Thanks Santos Juba
