"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend,

Compliment of the season, Please excuse my intrusion into your private life without your prior permission. I hope my email will not cause you much embarrassment as i write in good faith.

I am Roland Kusi, a lawyer by profession and solicitor at law. A personal attorney to one late Walt A. Kassab, from Australia. Who was CEO of a foreign mining company in partnership with Phosphate Mining Company in Republic of Togo. Herein shall be referred as my client.

On the 21st of April 2000, the deceased (my client), his wife and their only daughter were involved in auto crash along ECOWAS express road on their way to Accra Ghana. All occupants of the vehicle unfortunately lost their lives. Since then I have made several enquiries through his Country's consulate office here to locate any of his extended relatives, without any success.

After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to contacted you, on a mutual understanding and agreement to present you as the next of kin to these deceased family to enable us put claim to this fund before it gets confiscated by his Security Company where this money was deposited.

Already the company where this fund was deposited has issued me a notice to provide the next of kin to the deceased or face the property confiscated. Since i have been unsuccessful in tracing their real relatives for over some time now, I seek your consent to present you as the bonafide next of kin to the deceased family.

Though i know this could be very surprising or even scarring but i assure you there won't be anything to worry about, for i will direct and advise you on what to do or tell the Security Company each time till the claim and release is approve.

Therefore, on receipt of your positive response to that, i will tell you modalities to the claim. After which we shall settle on the sharing ratio of the money. I have all necessary information needed to back you up for this claim, being the personal attorney to the deceased family i will secure on your behalf from our local court every legal documents the company may be demanding from you for a proff to your claim.

All I require from you is your honest cooperation to enable us see this transaction through if this is acceptable by you, I will also disclose every other things to you.
I guarantee this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law. I therefore awaits your response towards this.

NOTE: KEEP THIS WITHIN YOU !!!

Yours Sincerely.
Roland Kusi.
