"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am sorry that this email comes to you in this way, due to the urgency of the transaction. Truly, you don't know me; I came across your email when I was searching for a good God fearing and a reliable person like you, whom I can trust without fear of betrayal or denial after every thing.

Please my good friend, as this comes to you; don'thesitate to show your interest because it only a trial will convince you and a fact of no doubt.
For the purpose of introduction, I am Aminu Umar Atiku, the son of the present vice president of Federal Republic of Nigeria. Dear friend, as you are reading this mail, I'm having the sum of $7.22m {Seven Million twenty two thousand United State Dollars Only}, in my custody, been given to me by my father for keep.

Now, due to the on coming general election coming up in Nigeria on April this year 2007,and with the present political problem that my father is having with the president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, of which you must have heard of it over the radio, television or on internet.

For this, I stand the risk of losing every thing I have, so I have decided to entrust this money into your able care. Please I am urgently seeking for your wiliness to help me secure this money in your country for safe keeping.
