"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

From; Mrs Joy Geyan.
Avenue 101,rue 11
Lot 102,Deux Plateau
Abidjan-Coted'ivoire.

Good day,

It's my pleasure to contact you for a business venture which I intend to establish in your country, though I have not met with you before but I believe one has to risk, confiding in someone to succeed sometimes in life.

My late husband Mr William Geyan kept in a security storage house here in Abidjan the sum of($12,400,000.00) before he was assasinated by unknown persons.

I am looking for a God fearing foreign partner who will come down here to help me retreive this money from the security firm and retransfer it into his or her account outside this country for investment purposes. As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the Company.

I would like the money to be managed in a profitable venture preferably a joint venture business with you. I have decided that you will get 15% of the total fund and 5% for any expencis that may have incured, for a succesful conclusion of the transfer of the fund.

I await your soonest response.
Thank you and God bless you.

Sincerely
Mrs. Joy Geyan.
