"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello Mr Kirscher,

I got the email you sent. And I will say i am very sorry when i got to know you had a minor inclination to be manic-depressive. yes it is legitimate and i am honest and genuine with all dealings with you.I will explain to how you won.Your e-mail address was picked at random from the commerce market world wide, which was attached to ticket number: 56475600545 188 with Serial number 5388/02 which drew the lucky numbers: 14,21,25,39,40,40,47(20), which subsequently won you the lottery in the 3rd category. You have therefore, been approved to claim a total sum of £500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Great British Pounds) in cash credited to file KPC/9081118307/07.
This year Lottery Program Jackpot is the largest ever in the history of International Email Lottery sweepstakes.
My advice for you is to follow my instruction as your fiduciary agent and stop being unconfident.yes the only tax on it is when you transfer the money elsewhere which is 5% of the total money for (cot)cost of transfer.
please let me know what intend doing so i could assist for a smooth transfer of your winnings.
I await your response and also send me your phone number so i can call to explain better.

.Yours Sincerely,
Mr Peterson David
