"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: EMAIL FROM KAREN DAVIES

Greetings in the name of the Lord.
I know for sure that this mail will come to you as a surprise
regarding the rate of spammers all over the world but, i will like to
build a confidence of trust in you due to my present predicament. My name is Karen Davies and i am a young girl of 21 years old from Liberia.
I am mailing you because i am highly interested in investing in
your country and the area of business is grocery stores and hotel.
Reasons;
My late parents Dr. & Mrs.Benjamin Davies from the country
of Liberia in Monrovia were both hard working and successful diamond and gold merchants who traveled around the coast of
Africa, Asia and Europe.
But, my mother always had eyes for going into hotel management business
but my late father never liked it.
They were both involved in a plane accident. For confirmation kindly visit, www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/africa/12/26/Benin.crash/
at Benin and they lost their lives.
I am contacting because, i received a telephone call from a lawyer in Ghana telling me that my late father deposited some huge amount of money with a private security company in there country.
When i arrived Ghana, i was taken to thesecurity company by this lawyer and
i was shown the deposit and ownership certificate by the companyto my late father
and i saw that this was real. I hated my life when my parents died
because i had nothing to rely on but, i am now building confidence
again and want to know you well to see if we can both invest this money
in your country.
If you are willing let me know through email and i shall go into an agreement with you. Please you can reply on my yahoo email id...karendavies2007@yahoo.co.uk
Bless You
Karen Davies
