"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good day to you I am Ms.Janet Williams,an accountant in a commercial bank of cameroon.I got your contact from a reliable source and after due consideration i am well pleased to confide in you a bank transaction of the tune of $20 million U.S dollars and this said fund is a floating fund which i discovered in result of my auditing current account and this said fund was found in this account i quote CB476182500C.So after much details research i found out that is one Engineer Jones Morgan an American Business Man who deals on Timbers export here in Cameroon Central Africa, and who also is an American citizen from New york.With my reseasrch i found out that Eng. Jones Morgan died in a plane crash two years ago and living no trace of claim behind.So as i discovered this i decided to keep this information to myself secret until i contact you so that you can come in as the bonafide next of kin with an application form and more details which i will send to you for the claim before my physical arrival to meet with you face to face for the disbursement.
