"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Mrs Theiss,

It give's me much happy after reading from you this morning when i come back from the church and all you said is well understood. Your letter alone assured me that you are the right one to handle this project. I don't know how to aprove to you that this is legal but only the almighty Lord in the Heaven knows the truth more than we know but i'm assured you that this transfer is legal but you must believe with me for us to proceed in this transaction.

Send to me your full name and address so that i can submit it to the Ministry of Justice for the Affidavit that will officially aprove you the new beneficiary of the fund so that if that i'm no more, your claim will not be doubt or if you can be able to come down here to conclude this transaction, it will be more appreciate because my health will not alow me to move around but you must always follow the advice that come from the remittance director of the bank so that the fund will be transfer urgently and successful in your bank account.

I will wait to receive your full name and address as it urgently request for the transfer. Have a nice and pleasant day in the Lord.
