"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello my friend,

how are you today ? together with your family i know with God althings will be possible.

I am in receipt of your mail and its content has a confirmation that the Draft on my position is yours.
Actually my Honourable left a Bank Draft to be sent to you immediately you request for it.
I have a very tight schedule and will not be able to go myself to the courier service but my assistant will proceed immediately to the courier service and I will get back to you on the receipt of his findings from the courier company, is that ok for you?.

In that respect you need to reconfirm your phone number so that it will be given to the courier company for proper delivery when the Draft arrive your country.
On the other hand if you do not feel comfortable with the idea of mailing your draft to you, the Draft could be taken to the Bank and an account shall be opened where your fund will now be transferred to any of your account of your choice.
Whichever you prefer please let me know, but my assistant will immediately go to the courier service for enquiries first thing tomorrow.
