"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: RE:{Spam?} RE:{Spam?} RE:{Spam?} RE:{Spam?} FUND

Dear: Mr. Altmann Klien,

Happy to receive your message.

I advise you once again not to have concern about anything in this project.
I assure you once again that there is no trouble in anyway regarding the
project, including you receiving the fund.

As am writing you right now I am having a meeting with the bank manager I
told you earlier. For your information anything troublesome during the
process of the transfer or during the process of the project never come into
our minds during our meetings, why because we are 100% sure that every thing
is real and legal 100% well handled.

Like I told you earlier that what I expect from you now is to ask when will
the transfer be done and what will you do to see that the project is highly
executed.

Why I mentioned confidentiality in my last mail before this is. In any
project there must be confidentiality, you cant go every where telling
everybody that you got a project to execute, moreover a project of this
kind.

You must know we are talking about cash here and I don’t want anything to
jeopardize my effort.

We can only talk about it immediately the project is over, as soon as the
project is over we can tell anybody we wish to tell but not now.

I advise you not to take this far as you seem to be doing. Every adult in
the world knows that project is confidential if the people involved what it
smoothly.

I have told you without number to play your part well and leave my part for
me. Your part is to give me your co-operation and your support/follow all my
instructions, doing whatever I tells you to do as soon as you do so
everything will be 100% okay.

Once again and final the project is 100% legal, free of risk, not
troublesome and nothing to be concern about. I finally look forward to
receive your id document for me to proceed to the next level.

Yours faithfully,
Mr. Jono Sono
