"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: GRETINGS FROM GHANA

I am Samuel Boubeng Opoku, the crown Nephew to late
King Moses Boubeng of ASHANTI KINGDOM in Ashanti region, the gold and diamond-mining region in GHANA. I lost my Uncle and this led my inheriting the throne. The gold dust (AU DUST) that accrued to my father, as royalty for mining in our Land, stood at
350kg (1.2tons) before he died. I wish to sell this consignment to you, and as such will like you to come down here to see things for yourself. But if the need arise, I can make the shipment to you on trust. On shipping the cargo, one of my aids (assistant) will leave Ghana to join you. I will give you $1000 per kilogram sold for your efforts and you will be of help in investing the money that will accrue from the sales and also help in buying properties for my family. The gold dust had been tested by "Geologist international" inspection agents. I have the Geologist test report, which I can make available to
you on your request. Below are the information you may
require:
NAME: ALLUVIAL DUST-(GOLD DUST)
QUANTITY 350 KILOGRAMS(1 TONS)
PRICE PER KG: $7,000 PER KILOGRAM
I can make adjustment on the price based on your advise. The quantity may increase as more royalty are still accruing to my family.
Please act on this immediately, as time is not in our favor and do get
back to me on my email address
or on my telephone number. Wishing you and your family God's blessings.
Yours Sincerely,
Samuel Boubeng Opoku.
