"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello Dear

Dearest oneHow are you today? I hope that you are fine, great.I know that this mail may come to you by surprise but good a thing to write you because I really need your help, Cyril Kossui , the only son of my late father Mr Moses Freeman kossui. My father was a highly reputable business magnet (a cocoa, diamond and gold merchant). It was sad to say that he passed away mysteriously in France during one of his business trips abroad.
Though his sudden death was linked or rather suspected to have been masterminded by an uncle of his who travelled with him at that time.
But God knows the truth!sorry to say that I never know the caring of my mother because my mother died when I was just 4 years old which made my late father to take me so special and he never hide anything from me. Before he made the trip to France that lead to my misfortune (his death) He called me, explained to me the reason why he will make the trip...and also told me that he has the sum of Four million, Five hundred thousand United State Dollars. (USD$4.500,000) deposited in one of the security company's here in Abidjan Ivory coast West Africa, which he disguised and declared the box to contain family valuables instead of money, by this way the company does not know the true content of the box. The deposit document, which I have in my possession, carries my late father's name as the depositor, while I'm the next of kin on the same document. I left my country Sierra Leone last week because of the deposit that was made by my late father secretly in Abidjan,Cote d'Ivoire and also with the fear of my greedy relations, those that killed my father. I arrived in Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire same last week but Ivory Coast or Cote d'Ivoire is a French speaking country and as a result of Language barrier am more or less confused on who to confind in over my inherited wealth, that's why I am contacting you because is my wish to evacute and relocate out entirely from Africa with my inherited wealth to start a new life some where else. I have no documentory problems with the security company but the only problem is the nature of deposit that was made by my late father which I will explain to you once you declear your williness to assist me. The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life. I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards. Your suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded. Now permit me to ask these few questions: 1. Can you honestly help me?2. Can I completely confind in you without any bridge of trust?3. Surely you will be highly compersated but I need to know what you need me to offer you in returns or will you accept on my directions that we handle this as one family? Please feel free to answer my questions and be rest assured that I have given it second taught before contacting you, afterall if one trust his/her self the tendency of trusting will be there. Thanks and I await your response cyrildon@hotmail.fr or cyrilkossui1@yahoo.itSincerely Cyril Kossui
