"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Sir,

I write to acknowledge the receipt of your mail.

Your address for the posting of your winning certificate and other documentation for your prove reading and file has been received, but your id document was not received. I advise you kindly resend it through scan attachment or by fax.

On your question on what to do to receive your winning prize, like i said earlier on previous mail sent to you, you are to advise us on which option you choose for the receiving of your winning prize payment.

Its either you visit our office here in United Kingdom, our offshore locations or assign for an accredited lawyer of which we will send to you their details for you to choose one to help you sign for your payment release order on your behalf, pending on which option you choose.

This signing of payment release order is highly important, and must be done by you or by the help of a lawyer before your payment could be released and transferred into your nominated bank account in Germany or any part of the world. Advise us on the option you choose.

Again, kindly explain to me what you mean by (what about a possible leak about my Money?)That makes anxious.

Lest I forget, the delay for the receiving of your winning prize is on your hand. Get back to us on the option you choose for the immediate processing of your claim.

Sincerely,

Phillip Weeks,

(Claim Agent).
