The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Please my name is Synthia Kwazim, the only child of late Chief Micheal Kwazim from Sierra Leone. I got your contact from the ecowas Information Center in Cote d'Ivoire. The source of your contact gave me the courage and confidence to rely on you. I am writing you in absolute confidence primarily to seek your assistance to transfer our cash of ($18.5m) united states dollars now in the custody of a bank here in Cote d'Ivoire to a safer place in your country pending my arrival to join you over there. Source of the money. My late father, Chief Micheal Kwazim, a native of mende district in the Northern province of Sierra Leone, was the General Manager of Sierra Leone mining co-operation (S.L.M.C.) Freetown.

According to my late father, this money was the income accrued from mining co-operation's over draft and minor sales, before the peak of the civil War between the rebels force of major Paul Koroma and the combined force of ECOMOG peace keeping operation that almost destroyed my country, following the forceful removal from power of the civilian elected President Ahmed Tejan Kabbah by the rebels.

My late father had already made arrangement for me and my mother to be evacuated to Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire on our personal effects. My Late father deposited this money for safe keeping until the war is over when he will join us. During the war in my country and coupled with the indiscriminate looting of public and government properties by the rebel force. The Sierra Leone mining coperation was one of the targets looted and destroyed. My father including other top government functionaries were attacked and killed by the rebels because of his relationship with the civilian government of Ahmed Tejan Kabbah.

As a result of my father's death and with the news of my uncles involvement in
Air crash in January, caused my mother's heart failure and other related complications of which she later died in the hospital after much money have been spent on her. Now I am alone in this strange country suffering without any care or help, without any relative, I’m now a refugee and orphan. My only hope now is that money my late father deposited in the bank.

So to this effect, I humbly solicit your assistance in the followings ways. To assist me get that money from the bank as the beneficiary of the money in your name and transfer it to your country also make a good arrangement for me to come over there as you also arrange for a joint business investment in your country, while I further my education in your country after you have transfered this fund. Most importantly, the whole information concerning that money are in my custody for your assistance, I am ready to give any amount you want for your efforts in assisting me.

Best regards,
Synhtia Kwazim
