"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attn: Ms Loyce Fisch,

I am in receipt of your mail . I received the instruction from my Director to send to you the sum of $800,000 which is an internationally certified bank draft.

You are therefore advised to come down to Benin Republic in other to pick this draft which has already been drawn in your name. I want you to note that you are required to arrange for your coming down at once to receive this draft as I have other assignments outside this location. When you finalize your arrangement to come, give me a call on this number: +229-93-6910-74 to furnish me with your flightintenary to enable me come and meet you at the Airport.

NOTE: HERE IS THE ONLY OPTIONS TO RECEIVE THE DRAFT:
If you will not be able to come down to Benin Republic, the cheque will be despatched to you for your direct and effective encashing through courier service company. as i have been in courier office already for the arrangement of the shipping,

The reason why I said that you will come is because my boss left the cheque without the money to send it to you. In this vein therefore, the mailing expenses has to be taken care of by you.
