"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

*ATTN : Mr Valdemarr Wechshagen,*
**
*I want you to understand the fact that Your Winning package is covered by a
hard Policy Insurance cover which makes it impossible for Us to have access
to the documents including Your Winning Cheque which is enclosed in it.*
**
*On this note I advice that You proceed to make the payment for the delivery
of Your Winning Package via Western Union Money Transfer as I earlier
instructed in order to have it delivered to You without further delay.*
**
*I also want you to note that We do not operate on payment/Cash on delivery.
*
**
*Secondly the ECC Police has got nothing to do with your Money.*
**
*I hope I have informed you correctly and await your swift response as
regards Your Payment because as You well know You do not have much time left
as You have almost elapsed the stipulated time for claiming your winnings.
*
*Warm Regards.*
*Mr.Tony Howards.
