Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

I am compelled to contact you via this medium for obvious reasons which you will understand when we discuss details of my proposition My name Is MR DAVID KWALE, the son of the late former Liberian mineral and energy resources minister, late MR.ROBSON KWALE, who died when the rebels attacked our residence in Monrovia Liberia. Following the cease fire agreement between the rebels and the government troops which was reached ealier this year with the help of ECOWAS peace keeping troops, and the interfering of the government of George Bush of USA which led to the going in exile of the former Liberia president Charles Taylor of whom my late father served under his government.

I and my aged mother used the opportunity to leave our country Liberia with a very important document of my father's precious (DIAMONDS) weighing 14.220 carats, 2.9kg which my father deposited in a bank in DAKAR-SENEGAL, and of which my name appears as the"NEXT OF KIN" in the documents. Now i and my mother are seeking asylum in DAKAR SENEGAL under United Nation's(UNHCR). I contacted you because of the need to deal with a person whom my family and i have no previous personal or business relationship with.And i got your contact from the international chamber of commerce here in DAKAR-SENEGAL and i confirmed your country as being economically conducive for investmentand her people as transparent and trust-worthy to engage in business with.

Hence my reason for writing you. However, this Diamonds in question has been in the bank since my father's death. But my main problem now is to move this diamonds out of Africa for the sales of it and to invest all the money generated from it's sales in your country with your full backing and business knowledge as i have no business experience. May I use this medium to request you to assist me in the transferring of this diamonds out of Africa to yourcountry or any other country which you will prefer and advice as be well convenient for business investment.

As soon as the diamonds have been transferred to your position in your country, i will prepare immediately with my mother for our arrival to meet with you for the sales of the diamonds and for investing of the money generated from it's sale in any profitable business that you will introduce, as we have decided to do away with Africa entirely.
I and my mother have decided and agreed to let you have (15%percent) of the total after sales money of the diamonds after the diamonds gets into your country through your assistance, and 5% will be mapped out for any miscellaneous expenses.
