"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

RE: YOUR INHERITANCE WITH THE SECURITY FIRM

Before I introduce myself, I wish to inform you that this letter is not a
hoax email but a legal notification of your inheritance. It is my pleasure
to inform you that our search of the family tree/pedigree through
http://www.familysearch.org/ and other sources have revealed and confirmed
that you are the beneficiary of my late client in the capacity of a family
member. My deceased client lived at Stirlingshire, Scotland, in the United
Kingdom until his demise in August 4th 2002. He died at the age of 54 years
without a child. This notification email has come to you as a fulfulment of
my contract with my client to ensure the adequate and unmistaken delivery of
his properties in the invent that he is no more to you. And, I stand to gain
15% of this fortune as his Attorney and this agreement shall be applied to
you as his heir apparent.

THE INHERITANCE

A consignment of treasure to the worth of 1,280,000.00 Euro was deposited
with the PLATINUM SECURITAS AND TRUST COMPANY in Europe affiliating with the
Security Outfit of The Royal Bank of Scotland. This consignment shall be
released to you as TREASURES or its equivalent (Face Value) in Euros upon
the presentation of the following:

1. The Consignment Deposit Certificate
2. The Deed of Lodge
3. The Court Probate Clearance From any High Court in Europe of UK (Under
the EU claims guidelines)

Therefore, to establish the claim of your inheritance, you shall be
required to supply the following:
1. Your Full Name:
2. Contact Address:
3. Nationality:
4. Date of Birth:
5. Occupation:
6. Official/Private Telephone:

Your attention shall be required at the office of the Security Firm to
complete the application forms and do endorsement to the release documents
with your ID. However, if you are not disposed to come in person, you may
have to hire the services of a Notary Public to represent you. I would have
gladly opted to represent you, but I am not yet a Notary Public and may not
be able to travel all the time to Europe. More importantly, such Notary
Public most be one of the accredited few of the Security Firm.

WARNING: You must handle this transaction confidentially to avoid any
impersonation or petition from any envious person(s). And also know that the
Security Firm has given a deadline for this claim or have the Deposit
confiscated. The claim details shall be intimated you upon your response and
readiness to file for the claim.

Your urgent response shall be well appreciated in order to beat the
deadline.
