"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend ,

I am Barrister. Ede Nkojoh, the personal attorney to Mr.Benjamin Jesse James, herein after refered to as my client and who owns an Import and export Company; B.J.J. AND CO LTD. This my client, before his death had a Company account with International Commercial Bank here in Republic of Ghana totalling the sum of US$7.52million (Seven Million Five Hundred and Twenty Thousand United States Dollars) . Unfortunately, this my client with his wife and two children were among the victims of SWISSAIR FLIGHT NO.111 that crashed on the 01-09-1998 in CANADA.[http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/9809/swissair.victims.list/ ]. But, since that year after his death the bank has not had anyone that comes for the claim of this money as the second next of kin to this my client, since his wife whom he made the

Now, the bank has officially written to me as his personal attorney, informing me that his account with them will run to an end in the next 30 days, and will be declared permanently dormant and transfered to the federal reserve account if not claimed before the 30 days notice. As his personal attorney and having monitored this deposit over the years , before and after the entire familys death, and hence nobody has showed up as the second next of kin for the past years now, I now humbly solicit for your assistance in this issue. I wish to present you as his partner and friend and his second next of kin so as to claim out this money, before it is remitted to the federal reserve account where other people may aswell claim it directly without going to this lenght. I have taken every necessary precautionary measures concerning this issue and arrangement has been concluded by me in achieving this goal since l have all his personal and companys information, provided you will
follow my instructions in the process. This does not have any risk attached to it,provided you will give me your assistance and support.
