"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Ms Ulrica Moenchgen,

I am in receipt of your letter and the contents noted was well understood, Well you have to understand the fact that I am a real Christian and I must make sure we follow the normal procedure to avoid all breach of law. I am making all efforts that can enable us get the money out from the Security Company, Can you come to London to clear this consignment from the Security Company? Or would you want me to make arrangements so that we can process the payment through Bank to Bank Transfer.

I want you to respond to me as soon as possible so that I can start getting the documents for this transaction. Bear in mind that all documents must be in your name and you are the bonafide owner of the funds, Respond to me as soon as possible and let me know if you can be able to transfer the sum of EU$ 2,500.00 to the Security Firm in London so that they can process and get the money across to you.

I wait for your utmost responsle, I must get a New printer tomorrow and I shall send my Identifications to you. Get back to me soonest. I will call you too. You should not be skeptical over this arrangement as I am too sure that everything will work out as planned, the only contribution that you will make in this project is that you will send the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Euros to the Security Company, Belive me they can bring the consignment to your house, I mean the funds in cash.
