"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

BARRISTER ABDULAHI DIENG & ASSOCIATE
(Ivory Right Chambers)
SOLICITORS & ADVOCATES, NOTARY PUBLIC
Head Office: NO 45 Clegg St,
Dakar-Senegal

Our Ref: JUSTICE/FG2006

Dear Ms Theiss,

How are you my friend? Let me begin by first thanking you for your reply to my proposal at the beginning, to join me in executing this mutual beneficial project. I believed that it marks the beginning of a lifetime business and interpersonal relationship with you.
I would like to give you more information about myself. My full names are Barrister. Abdulahi Dieng, Born on the 14th of February 1955. I am a legal practitioner, married with 3 children. My office address is NO 45 Clegg St, Dakar-Senegal

Firstly, permit to proceed to the court here, the Federal High Court in Dakar Senegal to swear to an oath of affidavit, establishing you in claim as the beneficiary to my late client; and sole legal executor to his estate valued at US$19.5M. This is because of the exclusive mandate I have from the court, to appoint anybody of my choice as the beneficiary to these funds, in the event of the death of my client, who did not name any executor to his estate in his file before his death.

Secondly, permit me to file an a preliminary claim appointment letter to the security company, SGS in Senegal, informing them that you have been appointed as the beneficiary to the funds of late David; and that you would want the funds transferred to you at any designation of your choice.

Thirdly, permit me to request that you send to me the below information.

Full name.........................
Detailed address..................
Occupation.......................
Work status......................
Marital status..................
Age.............................
Direct Tel:............................

So that I will include it in the letter that I will send to the security company. These will also be accompanied by the certificate of deposit of the funds made with the company, the death certificate of David and other relevant court documents that may be required by the company.

Fourthly, permit me to request a guarantee from you that you will not cheat me out on my own portion of the proceeds when the funds arrive your account. This is a basic outline for mutual assurances and commitment. I hope my requests and suggestions meet your expectations and kind consideration.

Most importantly sir, I wish to request that this transaction be kept absolutely confidential, so that we can make a smooth and hitch free transaction possible, without any security hassles. This involves a huge amount of money you know; and I am making efforts to have the funds leave here without any incidences of taxation on this end.

I expect your kind and immediate reaction to the above outlined.

Your brother,
Abdulahi Dieng.
