"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Going by series of petition received from International Body on the way our past government officials handled
inheritance/contract fund due to some foriegners the present government after extensive close door meeting with members of the parliament and other stake holders such as the international monetary fund, world bank, paris club and G8 nations it was resolved and agreed upon that your inheritance/contract Fund should be released on a special method of payment via ATM card.

This method of payment is designed by the Government to avert fraud perpetration by some government officials on flimpsy excuses. Though all officials previously involved in this payment from may 29th of 1999 upto may 29th of 2007 when the present government came into power has been suspended from taking part in this new arrangement to avaoid a repeat of past activities where genuine claims where intentionaly frustrated from getting their money.

This committee has Been Mandated to take charge of the verification of your claim, your inheritance/contract payment file has been passed to my desk for clarification. After carefull verification and scrutiny of your claim your file was Certified OK by the payment vefification committee. Consequently, you are being contacted for the immediate release of you fund through the above mentioned payment method.

This Information when recomfirmed will be used in opening an ATM CARD account in your favor by the ministry of Finance here in our country, Upon completion of the processing of the ATM Credit Card, you will make withdrawals with the card at any international bank close to you and any bank, super store and all places where VISA card is accpeted as the card has in it a Visa card logo. Note that the payment is in agreement with Credit card company.

Urgently furnish this office with your Contact information in order to reconfirm if it's in line with the one contained in our payment data. Be informed that your fund has been called back and is now in a suspense account maintained by the presidency because a new ATM Account has to be opened in your Name Before the ATM Card most be issued.
