"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

*Dear Beloved Ghislain Bauergen,*

*How are you today?,i just got your reply from my notebook, through the help
of the Nurse that takes care of me here in the clinic.*
*What i'm passing on now is a true life story of mine, all i need is your
help to continue my charity task with my remaining fund that would be
entrusted into your care.I saw your email as a God fearing fellow that was
why i contacted you.*
*UnLike what i wrote in my first mail, i have set aside 20% of this fund for
your time and effort spent on this task.I will like to expect your urgent
reply,if you feel compassion and interest to help me complete this task as
i may not live so long according to my the doctor's report.*
