"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

 AHENTION

I am MR JOHN MARK Am writing on behalf of my widowed
mother and my two kid sisters. We are from Sierra Leone, residing in South Africa as Political Asylum Seekers. As a result of the political situation in my country, which led to the lost of my father, late Brigadier Julius Moyo.  He died in the maximum prisons of Serria Leona; his colleague in Government betrayed him. I got your contact information in my discreet search for a reliable person that can help us transfer the sum of $37Million(THIRTY SEVEN MILLION UNITED STATES DOLLAR.) inherited from my late father into your account, as it
will help us relocate and invest in your country.

Before the death of my father, he was Brigadier in charge of arms and ammunition procurement for the Sierra-Leone Army. In his "WILL" he specifically drew my attention to US$37Million, which he had deposited in a safe of a private Security Company in Johannesburg, south Africa. Infact he said and I quote: "My beloved son, I wish to draw your
attention to the sum of US$37Million(Thirty Seven Million United States Dollars). I deposited the trunk containing this money in a Security Company in Johannesburg South Africa as Precious Stones.

During the war, I was very dedicated and committed to winning the war against the rebels until when I found out that some army officers and government functionaries were busy helping themselves with government funds and properties, sending them to foreign countries. Due to this, when I and my former special adviser to the President (SAM H. NORMAN) were assigned by the President (Ahmed Taja Kabbah) to purchase arms in South Africa, but then President Nelson former President of South Africa had just stopped selling of
arms and ammunition to war torn countries in Africa. I saw this as a golden opportunity, after hearing the news of the overthrownment and I diverted and divided it with my partner for our personal use. When we divided the money my share was US$37million I did this for Norman betrayed me, and i don't know my fate in here. In case of my absence due to death, you should solicit the assistance of a reliable person to assist you in investing this money. This is the much I could do for you and your sisters, take good care of your mother. I deposited the Trunk in your name and you alone with the deposit code can calm it. Your mother is with the entire document; take good care of your mother and your younger sister.
Don't intend to come back to Sierra-Leone, beware of enemies, even those people you think you know, even
our family friends, could be used to get at you for I know the government might come for my family, if I didn't give up,.................."

We therefore ask for your assistance, as my family is ready to go into partnership with you and we can still have a reasonable amount paid to you as commission for helping us. As Political Asylum Seekers we have restrictions pertaining to financial, business, employment, even education. That is why we are asking for your help. Please bear in mind that unless you help us, we will remain refugees (slaves) and that this money could be forfeited.

I await your earliest response.

May God bless you.

YOURS FAITHFULLY,

MR JOHN MARK
