Dear friend,
Compliment of the season, I am Mr. john paul , Head, Banking Operations of Natwest Bank London , United Kingdom . A foreign consultant/contractor with the Ministry of Solid Minerals here in United Kingdom operated a one year fixed deposit account of (£9,000,000.00 UD) Nine Million GBP with this bank. Some months after he died in a bomb explosion in London . Before his death on the 27th June, 2003, I had developed a good relationship with him. We met in a social club’s end of the year party in December, 2002. Then I introduced him to my bank. He opened a fixed deposit account on the 5th February, 2003. Unfortunately, he did not disclose his next of kin at the time of opening the account. My attempt to locate any of his relations has not yielded any positive result.
Out of the discreet enquiry to locate any member of the late depositors family I got your contact, hence this correspondence. I am contacting you as a foreigner requesting that you stand as next of kin to the deceased to make way for the repatriation of the money he left behind, before it is confiscated. Our bank is about to declare the account unserviceable.
