"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

nt functionaries have been using standard security and services limited to =
move sums of money usd, pounds sterling, deutschmark, French francs (cash) =
to their foreign partners.They bring in these consignments of cash and secr=
etly declare the contents as jewelleries, gold, diamonds, precious stones, =
family treasures and documents etc. Gen. Sani Abacha of Nigeria, (dead), Mo=
butu Sese Seco of Zaire (dead), Fode Sankoy of Sierra Leone, Babangida of N=
igeria, Felix Houphet Boigny of Cote d'ivore (dead), Kanan Bedie of Cote d'=
ivore (Abidjan) and some of their officials. All these people have hundred=
s of consignments deposited with my office. Their foreign partners, friends=
and relatives are claiming most of these consignments. A lot of them are l=
ying here unclaimed for as much as eight years. Nobody will ever come for t=
hem because in most cases, the certificate of deposit are never available t=
o any body except the depositors hence most of them are dead.=20
Since the inception of the year 2001, our company's management has changed =
the procedure of claims of consignment, as soon as you are able to produce =
the certificate of deposit of any consignment, it will be released to you u=
pon demand from our record, more than 160 consignments has been claimed in =
the past one year and this is why am soliciting for your maximum co-operati=
on and assistance. Consignments deposited with several names and codes.64 h=
