"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello my good friend!

Just recently I really started to have some vivid dreams about cash money and gemstones tumbling all around me. And then I curiously obtained a nice little scooter bike in a newspaper prize draw. And next I read your mail. Is it not a little weird? I really hope that I have not told you about this previously and am not tiring you yet again but I just found it so unbelievable.

Let me know who supplied you my personal information? A little while ago, I met a pleasant middle-aged woman from Finland. Do you know this very same person? It might be that you got my contact information that way.

Please also confirm which city my award is held?

Not too long ago I had remitted some money to a friend who assured me of an offer very closely identical as yours. He has still not replied my last 12 emails and this makes me worry about you.
