"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Business Proposal

From The Office Of
The Financial Adviser
Mr. Robert Clarkson.
For the Prime Minister,
Mr.Rafik Bahaa Edine Hariri.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Compliments of the day.

I am Mr. Robert Clarkson, a staff of ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND.I saw your contact and profile and decided that you could cooperate with me in this proposition to help me retrieve the sum of £1.950m, (One million Nine Hundred and Fifty Thousand British pounds), into your nominated bank account, Thereafter I will visit your country for the mutual sharing between both of us, believing that you will never let me down after Our bank must has been transferred this money in your bank.

I am financial adviser to the Late Prime Minister, Mr. Rafik Bahaa Edine Hariri, who died on the 14nt Feb 2005.He has a huge investment here in the ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND, which he deposited the sum of £1.950m, (One million Nine Hundred and Fifty Thousand British pounds), with an intent of putting up a stone quarry company here in Scotland.

However, my Investigation proved to me as well that his family or company do not know anything about this deposit except I, who is the financial adviser. There is no risk involved as I will use my position to get this money released to you as the relative to our Late client with the needed legal documents which will back up the transaction, The most important thing I would need is your honest cooperation in this proposition.

This would be done under a legitimate arrangement that would protect you from any breach of the law. Please contact me at once you receive this Message with the E-mail address below for us to precede.
