"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: URGENT RESPONSE FROM MAILPOST COURIER DELIVERY DEPARTMENT

Dear Winner,

We are in note of your email and it was well noted, This is to notify you that we are well established company in the uk that is THE MAILPOST COURIER DELIVERY SERVICE LIMITED. and i my self My name is Mr Trevor Smith and i am from united Kingdom we do not paticipate on such act in which we will receive a parcel from a company stating that we should deliver it to someone.

And we ask for the delivery charges the company will tell us that the owner of this parcel will contact us if he want his/her winnnings parcel and due to the crucial issue at hand we will have to tell the legit owner of the parcel which we have his/her name in the parcel that was brought here by a company that he/she need to pay for the cost of delivery and they will not understand.

And that is why things is like that they dont want to believe that they need to pay for the cost of delivery. and we will also tell the owner of the parcel when we are coming to his country he/she should be at home so that as soon as we get to his country we will ring he/she that we have arrive so that he/she should be at home to remit to us the batch and the ticket number which is neccessary and you have to be safe it is because of security reason and that is all.

Why because we do not depend on how much you pay for the delivery charges we depend on when and how soonest you will received your winnings parcek from the hands of the courier service. why because i just receive call from your claims agent Mr Thomas Lampard stating that if you have be able to claim your winnings and my reply was No and he brought to my notice that i should keep you inform that the next coca-cola lottery will soon commence and i should inform you to claim your winnings before that particular time.

Note that you are to try as much as you can and choose of the delivery option in which you want us to use in sending your winning parcel to you so that we can send to you the details of our account officer in which you are to make the payment to.so that you can pay the delivery charges as soon as possible.

Hope to get your email soon.

Regards
Trevor Smith
