"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: DETAILS OF URGENT BUSINESS PROPOSAL

Hello Sir ,
Many thanks for your response.
Actually the deal in essence is a 100% full proof as no risk is involved
based on the modalities mapped out to actualising the transaction in as much
as you follow my instructions.
Let me throw some light as per the modalities.I am the accounting officer to
the deceased and when this account was being opened I was the one that
filled the form all he did was to sign it and fortunately for us,
his supposed next of kin or relation died alongside with him in the
plane crash.
so all i need to do is to fill in your details as next of kin to
the deceased and then scan it and store in the original data base before i
will instruct you to put up application for claims through the claims
department.
It is paramount we lias together so that we can start off immediately
so furnish me with the information Below :
(i) Name and address
(ii) Personal telephone and fax numbers
(iii) Bank name and address
(iv) Account name and account number with ABA number
and swift code if any
To enable me reach you for further clarifications.Pls
Looking forward to your understanding and co-operation.
Best regards,
Dr.James Elumelu.
