"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: BELIEVE ME, YOU ARE TRULY ONE OF OUR LUCKY WINNERS, STOP THINKING NEGATIVELY

Dear Edda.

Thanks for your mail and the contents, but I have not understood how serious you are over your claim.

I am not arguing about what you said over your past experience and I well know the reason as I have earlier informed you on my past emails.

I have earlier made you to understand that all the former staffs by then has been dismissed and new departments along with new staffs have been employed to support and defend our reputation over this noble program.

Apart from this, there is the toughest Security binding this program and that is the Insurance Bond Policy which has established to protect all the winning prizes until all funds gets to their beneficiaries..

Before you receive this notification winning letter, your winning prize has been under Insurance coverage which is made with all your winning details along with your winning e-mail address and now your name and winning details is standing you erectly as the beneficiary of this fund, and as a matter of fact or due to the Insurance Coverage, we have no access to your winning prize, I.E to say that we can not have the veto power to make any deduction of money from your winning prize until the prize is transferred to your bank account.

Now if you have not yet received any reply of the 14 mails you previously sent to the old staff/Agent, I have told you that the reason was because they have been dismissed from the departments and they are no longer participating in this program, you don’t have to contact them any longer.

Now I have received your winning certificate which I will scan and forward to you on Friday and I would like you to kindly remind me on Friday to send it to you as a proof of your winning.

Listen my sister; I promise you this is never a joking matter, stop having negative mind over your benefit, which is still here under our International Remittance Department Under South African Reserve Bank.

I have told you that if you have doubts over your claim, then kindly come over here and witness the truth of this program and the process the required Clearance release documents to effect the transferring of the money to your bank account.

I am not asking you for any money in regards to my legal services but the fee that was required from you and from all the lucky winners like you is the only fee which you have to pay for the processing of the required documents to be processed from various Ministries here.

If you would like to appear in person, then you will only be required to come along with the official processing fee only and you need not to pay for any other fee.

But whereby you can not be able to come down here in person then you will only have to contact any of our assigned processing lawyer who can then stand on your behalf to apply and do the required process, but then you still have to send him the official processing fee to process the required documents and also pay him his service charges which you can negotiate with him in regards.

I don’t know what else to tell you about this, it has been taking my time to always explain this and making repetition of words over the same subject matter.

Please follow my advice and I promise you will never regret knowing me because I have not cheated any one nor will cheat you in regards.

Your winning prize is here in South Africa only waiting for the Clearance release documents to effect the transfer to any of your nominated bank account.

Many other winners have claimed their lucky prizes and there is only one way and procedure to claim your money which I have told you, believe me because it will not benefit me if you failed to claim yours too and that is why I have been doing my best to explain this matter to you more properly.

Read my mails very carefully so that you will understand all the points I am not joking and will never joke with any one as long as I am concerned.

Thank you and Congratulations.

From yours truly,
Agent Kenneth Zuma,

Hello my friend!

A few hours ago I saw a beautiful bird whiz around my room. I think it was a dove pigeon. At last it found its way out through the open door. I was wondering if it is a portent.

I am still unassured and I am unclear how I had been chosen for this prize.

Please do give me some words of advice about an issue that is making me perplexed, what about EU bank investigations?

For sure it is not any hassle to send my personal credentials, as you ask.

Please do reply. I look forward to read something accommodating from you.

Ms Edda Wagstein
