Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

My name is Anna Salim a south African. I am married to Mr abdul salim of blessed memory who was a business man here in Madrid before his untimely death in the year 2003 after a brief illness. We were married for eleven years without child, he died after a brief illness that lasted only for couple of days. before his death, he was an unbeliever ( a Moslem) though very loving. And I am a devoted Christian from birth battling with both cancer and fibroid problem. when my late husband was alive, he deposited the sum of $24.6u.s.d(twenty four million six hundred thousand united states dollars)in a trunk box with an overseas finance and security firm. Presently, the money is still with the finance and security firm.
My doctor recently told me that the cancer illness is getting to a terminating stage which could be any moment from four months, coupled with my paralysis which disturbs me most. Having known my condition, I decided to donate this funds to either a Christian organisation or a trust worthy individual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct him .I want this Christian organisation or individual to use this money in all sincerity to funds churches, orphanages, widows, cancer research and to ensure that the society up holds the views and beliefs of the Almighty. The holy bible emphasizes so much on giving of aids, charity and this has encouraged me in taking this bold step. I took this decision because I don’t have any child to carry on from where I will stop. And my brothers and sisters in laws are all unbelievers, I don’t want the money to be misused by unbelievers and people who hold a different philosophy of life. I don’t want a situation where this
money will be used in an unholy manners, thereby contradicting the reason for taking this bold decision. I know that after death I will be with God the most high and the most merciful. I don’t need much telephone conversation for now because my doctor warned me to stop talking on the phone as it interferes with the hospital equipments, secondly I can’t discuss in the presence of my late husband’s relations who are always with me in the hospital. My trust worthy family friend whom I’ve known for so many years now happen to be the only person who knows the decision I am about to take. With God, I know all things are possible. As soon as I receive your reply through my email address stated as follows: (anna_salim44@yahoo.com). I will direct you on how to receive the consignment from the finance and security firm. I will also issue a letter of authorisation to instruct the finance and security company to recognise you as the rightful beneficiary of the consignment. I want
you and the Christian community where you reside to also pray for me. My happiness is that I live a life of a true devoted Christian , though married to an unbeliever, but anyone that want to serve God must serve him in truth and in spirit, please always be prayerful for me. Any delay in your reply will give me a room to source for another organisation or devoted individual for the same purpose. Until I hear from you my dreams will rest squarely on your shoulders.
