"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

SUBJECT: STOP SPENDING YOUR MONEY AND PAY YOURSELF THROUGH THE NEW DIGITALIZED PAYMENT SYSTEM (INSTRUMENT)

I am Honorable Alhaji Babagana Kingibe; I occupy the special position of the Secretary to the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria. I have been directed by His Execellency, the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar'Adua SFF,OON,G C R F), to bring to your immediate notice and urgent attention that this Government understand your plight, the huge amount of money you have spent and all the disappointment you have suffered in the past to get your contract fund paid to you. Due to what we described as selective payment and incessant demand of excessive fee by some unscrupulous and corrupt erstwhile officials in charge of foreign contract payment in the past.

However, I use this opportunity to bring to your notice that the Federal Republic of Nigeria has introduced a new system of payment which is Digitalized Payment System duly established in conjunction with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Federal Ministry of Finance (FMF). With respect to sub-section 3 paragraph 5 & 6 respectively of the payment panel constitution.

After deliberation in a re-union by International bodies and other foreign contract payment scheme here in Nigeria last week, the democratic government of Nigeria in Conjunction with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) inaugurated the <PAY YOURSELF DIGITALIZED PAYMENT SYSTEM> which will enable all contractors confirm their contract fund in their account via telephone from their home or position.

Note that all charges including economic level and cost of transfer has been deducted from your contract sum, so that you are not required to make any upfront payment with respect to this. All you are required to do, is to access your contract fund on your direct telephone line and confirm your contract payment been credited onward to your receiving bank as already been programmed by the Computer Programming Department at the Ministry of Finance.

Hence, you are further instructed to use the information below for the process stated. Access/Account Number below is your contract payment digitalized releasing code number A/C No: 999080473.

You are therefore, advised to access these numbers for onward collection of your payment. As soon as this is done, you are to contact the Central Bank of Nigeria through the payment assessment officer,DR. GeorgeCharles on-E-mail: georgecontractcbn2005@yahoo.com
