"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

It is a shock to the Presidency that some disgruntle NNPC officials in collaboration with some other government officials has been identified with high corrupt practices ranging from embezzlement of government fund to the tune of US$53.6Billion and also defrauding innocent client/contractors of the government.

They were the people who hijacked the original copies of your payment file and kept it in their private residence and thereafter engaged you in various illegal dealing and requesting unauthorized fees.

This is the reason why your fund has not been paid to you all this years; because the government cannot pay without seeing the original or even duplicate copies of your payment approval papers.

These criminals in the NNPC and their nefarious activities was exposed when one of the defrauded contractor from Egypt come to Nigeria; with assistance from his embassy and our security operatives, these criminals were tracked down and arrested.

While interrogating them a search was conducted in their private residences when the security operatives discovered the original approval letters, certificates and other documents needed for your payment and that of some other clients who are also their victims. Also discovered was payment slip of huge fund wired to various secrete and coded account number in Switzerland, Japan, China, south Africa and America. I have taken a critical look at your payment file and found out that you have fulfilled the entire obligation meriting the Remittance/Transfer of your fund to your account.

I, being charged with the responsibility of paying our entire client have concluded to pay you your overdue fund on Monday 3rd of September 2007.
To be sure I am in correspondence with the genuine client; kindly Confirm afresh the following;

1. Full Name
2. Amount owed
3. Full Bank details
4. Tel & Fax Number.

Respond back urgently to enable me proceed with your payment process without further delay.
