"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: CONFIDENTIAL APPEAL

Good day friend,
In a brief Expression, Am Dr. Erastus Bankole
Akingbola,the Vice Chairman/Chief Executive of
Intercontinent al Bank Plc Nigeria,On 19 of JULY
2007,We signed an agreement with BNP Paribas London
and FEDERAL NATIONAL SHARED BODIES(FNSB) Nigeria,
in managing the country assets and foreign reserves as
well, after this the FEDERAL NATIONAL SHARED
BODIES(FNSB)ca lled out for an Investigation/ Audition
on every owner of shares with it BOARD which am also
part of.
I am a share owner with the FEDERAL NATIONAL SHARED
BODIES (FNSB) and due to some conflicts which the
board noticed with some share owner with the board
,they decided to pay an investigation/ Auditi on on
every share owner with the board, due to the situation
the board has also restricted every share owner to the
board not to travel out nor transfer any money outside
the country for any purposes until the investigation/
Auditi on is over with every share owner.
The (FNSB) stated a law in the constitution with
code 9 that no foreigner who owns a share with the
(FNSB)Will ever undergo an investigation/ Auditi on
for any reason due to He/she might have a businesses
which he/she ruins in his/her country,So for this
reason am writting you as a foreigner to my country
for your support to be recognize as the new owner of my
share by the FEDERAL NATIONAL SHARED BODIES (FNSB).
My purpose of contacting you is that i want you to
become a shares representative for me, So that the
FEDERAL NATIONAL SHARES BODIES (FNSB) ,would no longer
see me as the owner of my shares and stop the
investigation/ Auditi on authorized on my shares so as
to maintain my capital £25,000,000 UK POUNDS invested
with the board after this, my shares certificate and
documents would be transfered to you by the help of my
legal advicer who would stand as a proxy between us in
the federal court of law to show the every transfer of
my shares certificates and documents were handed over
to you legally after this my monthly salaries £450,000
UK POUNDS, would be continouesly paid to you by the
board.
I hope i can have your trustness and honesty as am
willing to let you have 40 % of the monthly shares
salaries, you can always write me from Mondays to
Saturday With my Banking Mail id,
