"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attn: Mr. Steve,

Thanks for your mail, I want to inform you that the Company here is a legitimate Company, and also to let you know that the Consignment does not contain cheque, rather it's filled with money($2000,000,00 and the Diplomat does not know the content of the Consignment as money. Furthermore, I will like to notify you that the Diplomat will be leaving to Montreal(Canada) today or tomorrow to deliver goods to other people, you should know that he came to USA just because of your Consignment and since you said that you are not going to send him money to clear your Consignment of fund to be delivered to you in your home address, he will return the Consignment back to where it was originated from. Or you can meet him in Montreal(Canada) face to face with the sum of $7,500 US Dollars to collect your Consingment of fund from him.

The choice is yours, it's either you send the $4,200 US Dollars to him so that he will clear your Consignment from the Customs or you travel down to Montreal(Canada) with $7,500 US Dollars to claim your Consignment. Let me know your next plan today before the Diplomat leaves your Country to Montreal(Canada)

Call me as soon as you read this mail; 00229 97-01-66-97.

Regards.

Mr. Duke Harrison. (Director)
