"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Please ,

I want to beg you for this favour. My father (Amjad Hameed, the head of Iraq's state television channel Al-Iraqiya,in Baghdad) was assassinated by the insurgents in Iraq March 11, 2006, and the financial institution were he made a deposit of 5.8 million euros has contacted me to file my claim documents to enable me make the claim because my father used my name as the next of kin to the deposit.

The situation in my country Iraq is not favourable for any investment now and I do not have the required documents to travel to to Europe to make the claim. That is the reason am contacting you.

I have discussed with my mother and she agreed that I should look for for someone we can trust who will stand to make this claims as well as help us in investing the money for us since we do not have the necessary documents to go to Europe. You will also help us to come to your country because we are suffering here.

i will give you every necessary information about this deposit when i receive your response.

Please, send your reply to father´s e-mail: alabdulhameed@gawab.com [mailto:alabdulhameed@gawab.com]
